GIF is no longer just a medium for celebrating the stupidity of humanity or memes through the millions of hilarious of GIF animations roaming the web. Instead, many artists are using the format as a means to create animated, looped artworks. These series of GIF art are the creations of the the artist Patakk. Mind-blowing digital GIF art
There are not many artists out there that use GIF as a medium to express themselves artistically. However, Matthew DiVitto shows that his design in combination with the magic of GIF loops gives his art a completely new dynamic to it. It takes him around 1 to 4 hours to create a piece depending on the complexity.
